Investment Strategy

The U.S. Sustainable Dividend strategy focuses on high-quality, blue chip companies in the U.S. with deep, defensive moats and sustainable cash flows. The strategy targets companies with this profile that are trading at a discount to intrinsic value. The objective of the strategy is to provide current income, income growth, capital appreciation potential, and to have less risk than the broader market. The strategy is designed to outperform the S&P 500 Index over a full market cycle by limiting full participation in market downturns. The focus on companies with sustainable dividends, as opposed to those with simply high dividends, allows the U.S. Sustainable Dividend strategy to be an appropriate investment solution regardless of whether dividend investing is in or out of favor.
